Almost everyone has experienced thrush, and often thrush appears suddenly. There are some things that we don't realize can actually cause canker sores.
The cause of canker sores is sometimes difficult to ascertain. The cause of thrush is often not realized
Here are some things that can cause thrush:
 
1. Brush your teeth too hard

Brushing your teeth too hard can be a cause of canker sores. The reason is that when you brush your teeth too hard or use a toothbrush with coarse bristles, you can injure the gums and the surface of the oral cavity wall. This injury can cause the appearance of canker sores.
 
2. Bite wound

The lips, tongue, or inside of the cheeks can sometimes be accidentally bitten while talking or eating. This will cause injury, which can later become thrush. Mouth sores can also result from being stabbed by a fish skewer, a toothpick or exposed to eating utensils.
 
3. The use of keys
The use of braces also often causes thrush. This is because the edge or the tip of the braces can scratch the inside surface of the cheeks, causing sores and thrush. In addition to braces, improper use of dentures can also cause canker sores.
 
4. Poor oral hygiene

Lack of oral hygiene and maintained teeth can cause various germs lodged in the mouth and cause infection. Candidiasis can occur when this bacterial infection causes inflammation and sores in the oral cavity.

In addition to the above factors, canker sores can also arise due to certain medical conditions, such as Crohn's disease, celiac disease, and diseases that attack the immune system, such as AIDS or lupus.
 
How to deal with thrush
Although canker sores can go away on their own, you can speed up the healing process with the following steps:
 
1. Maintain oral hygiene
The main way to overcome candidiasis is to maintain oral hygiene, brush your teeth regularly with toothpaste and a soft bristle brush. Also, floss for cleaning food debris between teeth.
 
2. Ice packs

You can compress canker sores with ice, suck ice cubes in areas that have canker sores. This method is useful for relieving pain and reducing inflammation caused by canker sores.
 
3. Adequate nutrition

Lack of nutritional intake is one of the causes of canker sores. Therefore, make sure your body gets enough nutrition, especially vitamin B12, zinc, iron and folic acid. It can meet all nutritional intake of fruits and green vegetables.

4. Use natural mouthwash

Mouthwash containing natural ingredients, such as betel leaves, saga leaves and licorice (licorice), can also be used to treat candidiasis, because these ingredients have antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties.
