- Echocardiography, to better see the structure of the heart organ using high frequency sound waves.
- Blood tests to detect the type of protein that will increase in heart failure and to detect diseases that can cause heart failure.
- CT scan or MRI of the heart, to get a more detailed picture of the state of the organ
- Heart catheterization, to detect blockages in the heart arteries.
