Symptoms of Psoriasis
Psoriasis will cause symptoms in the form of skin changes, namely:

  • Rashes that look like red spots.
  • The rash is dry and thick.
  • Squamous rash, silvery white.
  • Rashes cause chapped skin and bleed easily.

Rashes in psoriasis cause itching, pain, and burning. This rash usually appears on the elbows, knees, hands, feet, neck, face and scalp.

Besides causing problems with the skin, psoriasis can also cause problems with the nails and joints. People with psoriasis will thicken and may suffer from arthritis (psoriatic arthritis).

The symptoms of psoriasis will last several days or weeks and are severe. After that, the symptoms may disappear completely. Symptoms will reappear if the trigger causes the symptoms.

The symptoms of psoriasis can also vary depending on the type of psoriasis that is suffered. Plaque psoriasis is the most common type of plaque psoriasis. This condition is characterized by red and dry squamous patches.

The rash can also look like water drops, a sign of intestinal psoriasis. Besides plaque psoriasis and plaque psoriasis, there are also pustular psoriasis. In pustular psoriasis, a rash that appears will become infected.
When to see a doctor

Contact your doctor right away if psoriasis symptoms occur, especially if skin rashes occur almost all over the body. This condition may be a sign of a life-threatening type of psoriasis, erythrodermic psoriasis.
