The baby's features do not just grow with fever

Every time a baby's growth and development is very interesting and tense for parents, including the baby's first push. Many questions can haunt, for example, at what age do babies start playing? Or is it true that the baby will have a fever before his first teeth come to the surface?

Baby tooth foundation (also called baby tooth) actually begins to form while still in the womb. In rare cases, this is what makes babies born with one or two front teeth. There are also babies who are teething when they are only a few weeks old.
As long as the teeth don't affect the baby's breastfeeding capacity, you don't need to worry. The reason is that this condition does not require any treatment.

However, in general, babies only get their teeth when they come out of the uterus. The symptoms that accompany baby teething vary and not infrequently they differ from one baby to another.

How old is a baby teething?

Most babies take their first steps between 6 and 10 months. But babies can also experience it faster, than three months.

Conversely, some babies experience stunted growth, especially at the age of one year or more.

The first teeth that usually appear are the two middle incisors from the bottom. Four to eight weeks later, the upper middle incisors are followed by lateral incisors, upper and lower. Incisors work to bite food.

When the child's incisors are complete, molars grow for the first time. This tooth serves to chew food. The growth of the first molar is followed by the second at 23 and 31 months.

Finally, dog teeth will finish 20 baby teeth no later than 36 months or three years. If the number of baby teeth is incomplete at the age of three, you should have your child seen by a dentist.

What are the characteristics of a baby who is teething?

Some babies only have teeth without significant symptoms. But some babies also have the following characteristics:
  • The gums are swollen and soft to the touch.
  • Babies are difficult and cry often.
  • A slight increase in body temperature, which does not exceed 38.3 degrees Celsius.
  • Show the attitude of wanting to chew objects around it.
  • Lots of saliva.
  • Experience changes in diet or sleep patterns.

Teething can be painful in babies. But babies who are teething should not have severe symptoms.

Do not hesitate to see your baby at the doctor if you feel your little problem until it cannot be calmed for a long time. Difficult babies can indeed be caused by dental disorders, but they can also be caused by other things that need to be treated immediately by a doctor.

What can parents do?

First teeth growth is a difficult process for your child and for you as a parent. The child may feel uncomfortable in the area around his teeth that will develop.

To keep the baby comfortable during the teething process, do the following:
  • Massage baby's gums with your finger, but make sure your fingers are completely clean.
  • Give him a hard teething ring that is not filled with liquid.
  • If your child's body temperature rises, you can give him a fever-lowering medication to make him more comfortable. Adjust the dose according to the baby's body weight or consult a doctor.
  • When a baby's teeth come to the surface, brush your teeth twice a day with baby toothpaste containing fluorine. Put a toothpaste the size of a grain of rice on a toothbrush, smooth it on the surface of the toothbrush, then brush your baby's teeth gently and gently.
  • Be careful with milk bottles because they can erode the teeth of a baby.

If necessary, have your baby's teeth checked by a doctor as soon as they appear. Also remember to regularly check your baby's teeth to avoid tooth problems later.
