Implanted bleeding: causes, symptoms and treatment

Other causes of vaginal bleeding

Apart from bleeding, there are several other possibilities for vaginal bleeding. Check if your bleeding is one of the types below:

Sexual intercourse: Bleeding due to sexual intercourse is closely related to physical activity during sexual intercourse or bodily hormones. This bleeding is not serious and will stop quickly.
Ectopic pregnancy: When an embryo implants outside the uterine wall, an ectopic pregnancy occurs. Symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy include severe abdominal pain or cramping and bleeding. You should immediately check whether this is happening.
