Why does flea shampoo sometimes fail to get rid of lice?

Head lice are very boring blood-sucking animals. Not only is the head irritated, but fleas are also difficult to remove.

There is often an anti-shampoo to get rid of lice in the hair. The shampoo must be applied to all hair and massaged all over the scalp so that lice disappear.

In general, my antiseptic shampoo contains an insecticide that can eradicate fleas and bedbugs. The active ingredients of anti-compression shampoo that are sold freely are pyrethrin and pyrethroid (permethrin).

Permethrin has long been a major weapon in the fight against fleas, mosquitoes, bed bugs and other insects. However, research shows that repeated use can cause ticks to develop genetic mutations. As a result, lice become immune to anti-cheek shampoo.

Initially, anti-cheek shampoo is able to eradicate lice. However, once ticks mutate and mutate genetically, anti-eyebrow shampoo becomes useless.

An effective way to get rid of head lice

Scientists are also looking for new ways to treat head lice. Non-insecticide antibacterial shampoo is found, without permethrin, but is still effective in removing head lice.

You can also use powerful ingredients to get rid of head lice, such as benzyl alcohol, spinosad, ivermectin and malathion. Meanwhile, lindane shampoo is another alternative used for lice cases that are difficult to treat.

Non-insecticide treatments are certainly more expensive, but can increase the risk of lice disappearing.

Apart from using non-insecticidal shampoo, there are several ways to get rid of lice, as follows.
 
1. Comb your hair with a serit comb

You also have to comb regularly with a comb. Make sure your hair is wet when you dye it. Comb all of your hair from head to toe. Do it three to four days for several weeks.

If you do this regularly, head lice will disappear.
 
2. Apply essential oils

Some essential oils, such as fennel oil, tea tree oil and cananga oil, have toxic effects on fleas and eggs. You can rub it on your hair and leave it for a few moments to kill head lice.

3. Apply Vaseline
A laboratory study shows that petrolatum is effective in killing most lice. You can apply vaseline to all of your hair, then cover it with a shower cap and let it work overnight. This is done so that the fleas cannot move and die alone.

Eliminating lice requires time and patience. Don't use excessive anti-cheek shampoo because you are impatient. Due to excessive use of shampoo, it will be harmful to the health of hair and scalp.

In addition, avoid the simultaneous use of different head lice medications because there is a concern that this will cause negative effects.
