Dengue fever is caused by dengue virus carried by Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. the virus will enter the human bloodstream through mosquito bites. Generally, this type of mosquito bites in the morning until the night before sunset.

Dengue virus transmission occurs when an infected person is bitten by a mosquito through. Viruses from infected people to carry out by mosquitoes and infect others are bitten by mosquitoes. The dengue virus is transmitted only by mosquitoes, not from person to person.

Dengue virus is divided into four types, namely DEN 1, DEN 2, DEN 3 and DEN 4.
